I know what you're thinking. And stop it! I'm focusing on a couple things with this client. His posture is off. But this could mean many things and stem from many areas in his body. I focused on his chest and shoulders as well as the hypertrophied erectors messing with his ribs. From all of these things combined he was experiencing what they call a "mis-aligned rib".
What this means for him is that he has to start working on his posture by focusing on his muscles. For him, he needs to change up his stretching routine as well as workouts. His front delt and upper pecs are tight as well as his traps. This is causing a lot of pulling in the wrong directions. So we dove right into breaking up tissue in all the right areas.
When we were done and he stood up, his posture was much better and his chest and shoulders looked released. Now this won't be an over night change, but after a few sessions he should be able to reset himself and starting going in the right direction.
